Furthermore, the recordings were really short, less than 2 seconds each, since it is easier to break them down into smaller animations. Activation is the level that a particular activity is happening in the face, regardless of the activity. For this reason, we decided to focus on one of the factors that influences the human behaviour that is the “activation”. As the purpose of the project is to test the conversational engagement of users, additional research is needed to understand some psychological aspects like: when someone is paying attention or how do we show to the speaker that we are interested to what they are saying. ![]()
